This song entitled 'AHA' by Imogen Heap was the song i was shown by one of my group members. The song has a very contrasting sound which makes it appeal to me a great deal.
The sound of her soft hight pitched voice along with the xylophones and other instruments makes the music sound magical as if its from a fairy tale. On the contrary the screeching sounds of the violins at a fast tempo in the middle of the song makes the song sound scary.
Screeching Violins is also a typical sound used in thriller soundtracks.
This song would be very interesting to use in our music video. If we were to use it the group would have to concentrate on the two contrasting sounds combined and ensure that the film clips have a relevance to the songs lyrics .
Fast paced editing shots will perfectly fit the songs fast tempo also.
